Compassionate Hillingdon Carers Development Officer
(a joint appointment between H4All and Carers Trust Hillingdon)
Hours: negotiable – part time-full time
Contract: 1-year fixed -term contract with potential to extend
Salary: £27,269 FTE (full time equivalent)
Base: Key House, Yiewsley/Carers Trust Hillingdon, Uxbridge
Carers Trust Hillingdon is the leading charity delivering high quality advice and support to unpaid family carers in the London Borough of Hillingdon. It is also one of five sovereign charities of H4All CIO, which is widely recognised for its innovation and new ways of working. H4All combines the expertise of its member organisations and the wider voluntary sector to bring health benefits to Hillingdon residents.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive individual for this exciting new role. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, an understanding of the support needs of unpaid carers and either health, social service or voluntary sector experience.
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required for this post and there will be occasional evening or weekend work for which time off in lieu will be given. Travel across the London Borough of Hillingdon is also a requirement of the job; all out of pocket expenses reimbursed.

Harlington Care provides support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our work ranges from Domiciliary Care to respite support in clients own home, group activities in the community. Your working pattern will be agreed between you and your manager.
