A joined up approach with our partners to provide wellbeing workshops for carers.  We will tackle these topics from different angles to help support your overall wellbeing.

Create Me - Monday 17 October 10am-12:30pm Ruislip Manor

Art Therapy: Explore ways that using art can help you to relax and express yourself.   We will look at Mindfulness using colour and the connection to mood.

Managing Me - Friday 28 October 12:30-3pm Uxbridge

Psychological approach:  Explore what we mean by the term ‘mental health’.  We will take a closer look at two of the most common conditions –  anxiety and depression.  We will discuss some of the causes of anxiety and depression – and discuss how we can manage them.

Looking after Me - Thursday 24 November 12.30pm-3pm Uxbridge

Therapeutic care practice: Look at practices we can use to manage anxiety and overwhelming emotion.  Includes breath work, mindfulness and movement.

Create Me - Monday 12 December 10am-12:30pm Uxbridge

Art Therapy: Visualise our emotions as the Elements. Using watercolour, acrylic and inks for blowing and splashing to create a unique piece of art.

Times of challenge and stress deplete the energy which can take its toll on our mental health. There are 6 key “energy stores” which support and maintain our mental health. Find ways to boost and maintain your personal energy levels throughout the New Year.

Talking Therapies Hillingdon offer members of the public free webinars on various topics on mental health. These sessions include information about these topics, and CBT skills which may help to develop new coping strategies. The topics we run are: CBT Toolbox for Low Mood, Worry Management, Sleep and Relaxation, Connecting with Others and Managing Stress.
